Portable Tunnel in Field

The field tunnel employed the same fan and motor as the laboratory tunnel and was very labor intensive to use. The blower and power unit would be placed on a plot, jacked up, wheels removed, lowered to the ground, transition section bolted on, honey comb added, and then three tunnel sections added. After the site was exposed, the process was reversed and the fan moved to the next site.
