WEPS users, reviewers, testers, etc: This is the most current build "Beta_release_19e" of the WEPS 1.0 interface and science model. Some issues addressed since release Beta_release_18e: 1. Updated and new crop and operation records developed by NRCS. 2. Modifications made to "Yield Calibration" feature to improve calibration success of multiple crops simultaneously. 3. A new "filechooser" has been developed and made available in MCREW for user testing. Eventually, this new filechooser is expected to be used throughout WEPS. It is intended to resolve several outstanding "filechooser" issues, e.g: a. No "keyboard" shortcut for "first character selection" b. Limited 'alternative" view listings c. No visual indication that the filechooser is generating a list of files and/or directories d. No options available for alternative list sorting, e.g., directories first or last in list, etc. 4. Improved erosion code runtime efficiency by skipping surface updating functions if no change has occurred 5. Fixed "delete key" bug in MCREW which caused too many rows to be deleted. 6. Corrected issues related to growing and harvesting perennial crops (e.g. alfalfa), which were causing WEPS to show erosion following every harvest cutting. 7. Updated the included JRE to released version of Java 1.6.0. 8. Management/rotation name and path always displays correctly now in MCREW. 9. Added a "wait" (hourglass) cursor to be displayed when MCREW is loading a management file to indicate to the user that "something is still going on in the background". 10. Added "Undo Delete" function to popup mouse menu in MCREW. 11. The management/rotation "notes" contents are now cleared when a new file is created or selected in MCREW. 12. Fixed the "WEPS Multiple Run Manager" (WMRM) so that it will display all existhing "Run" data even if the first "Run" has no data. 13. Fixed errors in barrier dialog, which displayed incorrect barrier area. 14. Added display of erosion totals and boundary losses to the SWEEP "graphical" output page. 15. Updated SoilUI so that a user can more easily create WEPS compatible soil "IFC" files. 16. Corrected bugs in "popup calendar" used in MCREW. 17. Fixed bug that caused erroneous warning messages when a crop was harvested on the same day another crop was then planted. 18. Updated SWEEP GUI to allow input of some parameters based upon user selection from a list of pictures. 19. Corrected error in Barrier panel, which had barrier height and porosity fields switched. 20. Revised method barriers are selected/specified in SWEEP GUI. 21. Added "insert" operation to MCREW. 22. Now uses Java 1.6 "splash screen". 23. Fixed display problem when viewing multiple SWEEP output graphic screens. 24. Fixed hourglass cursor problem in MCREW. Additional interface and science bug fixes not enumerated here.
