Direct seeded was adapted from transplant record based on:
Reference: Scholberg, J., B.L. Mcneal, J.W. Jones, K.J. Boote, C.D. Stanley, and T.A. Obreza. 2000.
Growth and Canopy Characteristics of Field-Grown Tomato. Agronomy Journal, 92:152-159
Reference indicates that transplants are typically 5 weeks old, so the direct seeded crop needs
5 weeks of growth added. Days to maturity was extended from 70 to 105. Heat units was extended
by 450 deg C from 750 deg C to 1200 deg C. The leaf and reproductive partitioning curves were
shifted so that the inflection points were later in the season using the formula:
new = (old * 750 + 450) / 1200
