Process: Change Standing Biomass Fall Rate (P 34)
This process allows an operation to modify the fall rate of decay for standing residue stalks. The purpose is to simulate the effects of undercutting the supporting roots, which decreases the ability of residue stalks to remain standing over time. Its parameters are:
- Select Biomass Pool Type
- Determines what standing biomass fall rate is changed:
- 0: Crop
- 1: Crop and Residue
- 2: Crop and Temporary
- 3: Crop, Temporary and Residue
- 4: No adjustment applied
- 5: Residue
- 6: Temporary
- 7: Temporary and Residue
