Cloned from southern upland file. Adjusted the plant population and yield to match information from Dr Boman, TX extension service, Lubbock, TX.
The crop is supplementally irrigated at about 60% of crop ET. MAS 8-14-08
Jackson MS, Picker Cotton.
Harvest Yield Conversion Factor was changed from 8930 to 3435. This is to account for the seed trash/lint split. 1-31-08 MAS
Adjusted the Res:Yied factor (2.6 was the multiplyer) to match RUSLE with the added seed trash to the harvest mass 2-26-08 MAS
Adjusted the Mass to Cover Factor (ac/lb) to match the Cotton curve in Ag Handbook 703 for Cotton. 11-8-10 MAS
Stem silhouette was adjusted to reduce the diameter of the stem. a went from 2.83 to 0.2, b went from 1.0 to 0.7.
All hts were changed to 3.2808 ft. to work with the new stem numbers. MAS 12-27-10
Fred Fox recommended that we further change all Cotton records to the Stem Silhouettes, a to 0.0535108 and b to 0.6177926.
This will insure that the stem dia. does not become too large. MAS 2-24-11
