Represents high yielding typically irrigated Potatoes - white, russet, red (all but sweet). 60,000 lb (600 cwt), 30 ton/ac yield . 36" rows.
Residue at harvest includes mass before chemical kill. Base location ID, WA, NM.
File was tested in Grant Co. WA and Bingham Co. ID. Biomas Conv Eff factor was at 32. Yields were low.
At 40 the yields were 553 cwt/ac in WA and 485 cwt/ac in ID. I have made the change to get the yields closer
to the actual field values. MAS 9-26-07
Harvest biomass ratio is set using two studies. One from the PNW irrigated and the other in MN.
Both sites are were sandy soils with irrigation. Yields were 600 cwt/ac. MAS 7-3-08
